Excellent work all around - I'm impressed with your recall in such a breadth of genres.

Two close calls: it's "Ain't it fun" by the Dead Boys (which I believe is the original, but I could be wrong), not G'n'R; and in this case "Warsaw" is a cover by the Swing Kids, though my iTunes contains the Warsaw and Joy Division versions.

Yes on 15 - the title is "Never As Tired As When I'm Waking Up."

As for "Warsaw," I was actually listening to the Swing Kids' frantic cover. But the original by Warsaw (later Joy Division) is a favorite too.

Wow, excellent stuff! The only one I know that isn't crossed out is #17, "Ain't It Fun" by Rocket From The Tombs, although I suppose you could be rocking the Axl version.

Not sure who did the original of "Ain't It Fun," but the version I have is by the Dead Boys, who it seems grew out of Rocket From The Tombs (from my hometown of Cleveland Ohio!).

It's too bad Rocket From The Tombs never really recorded anything in the 1970s - it was like a supergroup with members from the Dead Boys and Pere Ubu.
