Boots

I need some new nice casual shoes for the fall. I'm considering square-toed chelsea boots, which is a vision I have in my mind more than anything I've actually seen. Does anyone have any ideas on where to look or who might make an attractive version? Or for that matter, any comments on the advisability/fashionability of same?

do you really think chelsea boots are dress casual? what's the situation you'll be wearing them in?

Man, I don't know if I'm using "dress casual" right. I mean that I want to have leather shoes so I can get away with wearing jeans to work, and would like to occasionally wear them with other trousers that are not dress pants.

I guess I really mean "nice casual," but since sneakers are my default casual mode, I don't really know what to call it.

I will edit the original post accordingly.

What do they look like? Traditional black-on-black, round toe, or with variations? Who makes them?

maybe I dont know what you mean, but mine are slightly rounded toed, all black and made by timberland. I just looked on the timberland site and they don't seem to have them though...

You answered what I'm asking about. In my internet research I have discovered a range of colors (including contrasting colors between the leather and elastic). Not many with squared-off toes, though.
