Slightly sad
I ordered a package from Amazon and it was "Delivered" several days ago. But when I got home it wasn't here. The USPS usually leaves it outside my door and I've had absolutely no problems with getting packages in the past. I've seen neighbors have packages on their apartment steps for an entire weekend without issue.
So the three possibilities that I can think of are:
1. It was delivered and someone took it
2. It was delivered to the wrong address and they kept it
3. It wasn't delivered
Clearly the first two leave me somewhat sad. I was really looking forward to reading those three books. Two fun novels and one on advanced statistical design. Alas, I've contacted Amazon and they're figuring out how to best replace my items. $44 is a lot of money to lose for nothing.
Heading back to indiana next weekend for Addy and Desiree's wedding. That would be two separate weddings... It'll be nice to see my family again and Missy informs me that I must name my car - so I'll work on that.
