"Friend of the bride or the groom?"

Greet your friends! Admire the decor! Meet Mainframers and try to remember your cover story! Attempt to be seated correctly despite the bumbling of the ushers!

Hiro, his black leather kimono joined by black hakama and a white dress shirt, thinks it over for a pico or two. It could go either way, but he doesn't want the mookbots to strain their processors trying to send him both ways at once. "I guess I'll go on the groom's side."

"Sure ting." Slash pipes up rolling forward with Hack to bow, and knock their heads together.

And the two mookbots stare off at each other, shoving and pushing, before degenerating into a sissy slap fight before calming down.

"Follow me please."

"Both," Oracle answers easily, grinning down at the ushers and wondering just how poorly this will go.

Bob peeks out at the gathering crowd and tugs at the collar of his new dress uniform. Did he get the wrong size, or was it always this tight and he just didn't notice?

Or maybe he's just stressed and fidgety because. Y'know. He's about to get married.

Matrix walks up from behind Bob and taps him on the shoulder. "Relax. It's my job to worry about getting you to the wedding in good condition. If you're not ready, it's my fault, not yours."

"I'm gonna screw it up," Bob mutters under his breath. "I'm gonna step on her toes or forget my lines and make an idiot of myself in front of the whole system--"

"And 'ow's that diff'rent from any other cycle, mate?" smirks Ray Tracker as he struggles to get his tie on straight.

For what be the nth time in this past microsecond, Dot fusses in front of the mirror over the skirt of her dress meshes and how they're laying against her.

This didn't make her hips look fat BEFORE the wedding...

Just anxiety.

"Darlin', if ya keep pullin' at yer dress like that, yer gonna rip it," Mouse admonishes. "Calm down. Try ta actually breathe."

The dress-tugging stops if only for a moment, to be replaced with finger fidgeting.

"I'm just nervous." And happy, and excited. "And I am breathing thank you.."

It's not often that Phong leaves the Principal Office, even if it's only as far as the steps and only so he can enter it again. But he's officiating, so here he is, reentering the Front Hall and rolling solemnly up the aisle.

Just behind him are Captain Capacitor and Princess Bula, walking arm in arm. Well, arm in hand, anyway; Bula's a bit too large for the former to be practical. They're probably getting some odd looks (particularly Bula, decked out as she is in a lurid pink bridesmaid's dress), but they're both used to that by now.

Trailing behind the captain and the princess panoplied in pink come AndrAIa and Ray. There's no height restrictions with these two; they walk arm in arm down the aisle at a steady pace.

Ray, tuxedo-clad but taking it in good humour, smirks and whispers out of the corner of his mouth, "I seem to recall Matrix being paranoid about something like this..."

Beside the Surfr, adorned in a seafoam-green dress, the Game sprite sprite sets him with a hard stare and whispers back at him, "Quiet!"

The man in question is one of two more sprites walking neatly behind the pair. Matrix, the best man, looks impressive in his well-fit tux. His sidearm is worn visibly at his hip, just below where his coat ends, marking him as an honour guard. He eavesdrops on the two sprites in front of him, and just the barest hint of a smile touches his mouth as he hears AndrAIa's final word, quieting the surfr.

Phong smiles and waits for everyone to file themselves properly.

"We are all here to witness the joining together of Bob and Dot Matrix in the bonds of matrimony.

"There is an old ReadMe file which says: 'The goal in marriage is not to think alike, but to think together.' Dot and Bob exemplify this. No one who knows them would ever claim that they process in the same way, but they complement each other, in times of adversity as well as in times of peace. May this extend to their marriage as well.

"If any sprite knows why Dot and Bob should not be joined together, they should input now or forever hold their peace."

At that Dot just looks out over the audience with a look that just dares someone to try that.

And should someone feel that way...she will bite their head off right here and now so help her User.

Bob doesn't move.

He is giving his significant other a very wary look, though.

Silence from the stands. Good, the last thing we need is soap-opera drama. Or setting-inappropriate violence. Cough, cough.

Phong addresses the couple. "If either of you know any reason why you cannot be joined together, speak now."
