20 Random Songs Meme
Yay! Lovin' the meme today!
So I started playing with the Google search again, and here's the meme I found: It's random, but in a good way. Use your iPod/ MP3 player/ anything else that will play music. Set it to "shuffle" mode and compose a poem using the first lines of the first twenty songs that play. Then afterward, list the 20 songs.
So mine ended up being more like a disjointed story than a poem, but that's okay because the whole point was to do something different for a little while that was creative. And when you have about 3400 songs to choose from and over half of them don't have lyrics or the lyrics aren't all in English, or they were labeled 'Explicit', it narrows it down a bit, but not quite enough to get a very coherent story out of. Yet now that it's done, I find myself looking at it and thinking, 'hey, there's part of a P/C ficlet in there!' LOL.
In the springtime of the year, when the trees are crowned with leaves.
One day I looked up and there you were, like a simple question looking for an answer.
Another night, another dream, and always you; it's like a vision of love that seems to be true.

Every single boy I know is thinking that he's in control.
There's something sweet and almost kind, but he was mean and he was course and unrefined.
I don't know where I'm going, but I sure know where I've been.
The wind blows hard against this mountain side, across the sea into my soul.
I hear the drums echoing tonight, but she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation.
No matter how hard I try, you keep pushing me aside, and I can't break through, there's no talking to you.
See the stone set in your eyes, see the thorn twist in your side.
Hush now don't you cry, wipe away that tear drop from your eye.
Sometimes in our lives, we all have pain, we all have sorrow, but if we all rise, we know that there's always tomorrow.
You must remember this: A kiss is still a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh.
If you need a friend, don't look to a stranger; you know in the end, I'll always be there.
When you walk by every night talking sweet and looking fine, I get kinda hectic inside.
Every time our eyes meet, this feeling inside me is almost more than I can take.
One day, one night, one moment, my dreams could be tomorrow.
