I'm pleased you got around to posting this, I am enjoying the realism in this story. It is easy to believe that Billie didn't understand just how deep his feelings for Mike ran, and to end up with him settling for Aaron for a short term comfort in the absence of getting what he really wants. Also nice to see Aaron and Eggplant Maine appearances in fan fics.
