Title: Welcome to Silent Hill (part 9)
Author: Abby
Rating: R overall

"Are you sure about this?! I don't know man…"

"Yeah come on! It'll be fun, just like old times…"

He was looking at me with those puppy eyes that are just too damn difficult to let down, I couldn’t say no to him, nobody can say no to Billie Joe. Not to mention what he was asking me to do was really tempting. I thought about it for a moment before nodding in agreement. He emitted a "yay" and reached for his backpack, taking out his precious goodybox and placing it on his lap.

I watched him from the corner of my eye as he expertly rolled a joint in less than a minute. He placed it between his lips and lit it up with a lighter he dug out from his pocket.

Billie took a long drag and blew out an earthy skunky smelling puff of smoke, closing his eyes in the process and enjoying the undeniably great sensation that I'm so familiar with. He grinned and offered me the joint. "Here man…"

"I don't know if smoking weed while driving is such a good idea Billie. I'll pass" I said firmly with my eyes focused on the road.

There was this short moment of silence before we both burst out laughing. Billie clutched his stomach with his left hand and his face reddened as he vibrated with laughter, I thought he was going to choke or something. Weed definitely has a quick and strong effect on the man.

"I almost believed you there for a second …" he managed to speak out, wiping off the tears of laughter from his flushed cheeks.

"No you didn't" I chuckled. "Give me that ..." Billie put the joint in my mouth and I didn't waste any time smoking the shit out of that thing.

It didn't take long before we got down to our fourth joint, by that time Billie was totally high, he was babbling incoherent sentences while I laughed hysterically at every single word he said.

My memory became blurry a little after that. I wasn't as high as my fucked up friend though, I still had some sense left in me thank God.

I think I'm beginning to remember things.

I stopped by the first store I found because I wasn't exactly sure where the studio was, Billie and I have looked it up back at the hotel , and I drew a map of where it was located exactly, but of course I forgot to bring it with me, for the very responsible person that I am .

There weren't many cars parked outside the store, but I spotted a man leaning on the store wall and staring at the ground with his arms crossed. I remember thinking how sketchy this dude looked; messy dark blondish hair covered his shoulders and half of his face. He was wearing a long dirty blue rain coat, which seemed old enough to belong to my grandpa.

I rolled down the window and called this man. "Excuse me…" He looked up and stared at us for a moment, his face was expressionless. The dude looked like he was depressed or something. He approached our car slowly and bent down to be at a face level with me."Yeah?" his voice was hoarse.

"Hey man I just wanted to ask you something" I remember how this man's eyes were cold and kind of sad. He looked at me for a second before shifting his gaze to Billie, he tilted his head a little and squinted his eyes. It seemed like something about Billie got his attention for some reason, and I had a feeling that he didn't like my friend, at all.

"We're heading to Abbey Road studio, and I'm not sure whether I should keep going straight or take the left" The man was still staring at Billie, and I could've sworn I saw him grit his teeth. Billie didn't notice this, he was too high to do so, he was sitting with his feet pressed against the glove compartment, staring stupidly at what little was left of the joint.

Maybe this man smelled weed, no I'm sure he did. The smell must be fucking powerful because we didn't roll down the windows throughout the whole ride. Perhaps he didn't like the fact that we were smoking weed while driving, or he could've just been bothered with the smell or something, I wasn't sure what his fucking problem was.

I cleared my throat, and I managed to get the weirdo's attention. He gave me a long glare before pointing at the direction to the right, where there was a road surrounded by trees. "That way…"

I was kinda sure that this road was not on the map Billie and I traced back at the hotel, if I haven't forgotten to bring it with me then we would've double checked. "Are you sure?" I asked him and a giggle escaped my mouth, I have no idea why. I blame the fucking weed.

"Something funny mister? You won't be laughing long I assure you" The creepy dude said coldly with a creepy smile on his face, and then he walked away before I got to say anything.

"Fuck him man" I laughed as I drove to the road he directed us to.

"What was up his ass?!" I asked.

"He's just jealous cause we got weed…" Billie giggled.

I have no idea why I listened to that guy, I should've asked someone else for directions, especially after that threat he gave me, what the fuck did that mean anyway?

Pieces of memories are coming back to me, why am I having this weird feeling in my gut? Something's not right..

****************

She stood right there in front of him, in the middle of the huge moonlit balcony, chocolate brown orbs looking softly at terrified forest green jades. A warm smile was plastered on her face, which was very bright, it seemed like it was illuminating somehow. She was wearing a short white dress with no sleeves to protect her from the harsh cold.

Billie was speechless, his face turned white like he's just seen a ghost. Could it be though? A ghost..

The shocked man felt like his brain has shrunk somehow, his head hurt as he thought about what he was looking at. Not getting enough sleep can without a doubt turn a person into someone else, making them see things and lose their minds. But, but this feels so real.

"What…What are you doing here?!!" Billie's shaky voice climbed its way out of his numb throat, his eyes were wide and fixed on the woman standing not too far away from him.

He was paralyzed, it took him a long time to form words, the last thing he expected was to find his wife in an abandoned house in the middle of some creepy woods in England. He wasn't even sure it was her, but her face, there was no way he could mistake this beautiful round face and those long black dreadlocks for someone else.

She took a few steps towards him without saying a word, and his breath quickened, he was terrified of her. When a soft hand landed gently on his shoulder, his first reaction was to push it away and step back with fear. "Don't..Don't touch me" he hissed, pointing furiously at her and then looking down at the floor, like he was ashamed of doing what he just did.

"What's wrong sweetie?" She asked casually, that warm smile still covering her face.

"What's wrong??!!" Billie snapped as he looked angrily at the quiet woman."What are you doing here?! How did you get here? Did you follow me or something?" He yelled at her, but she didn't flinch.

She didn't say anything, her head tilted to the right as her smile grew wider.

"What the fuck is going on?" Billie mumbled under his breath as he rubbed his temples and closed his eyes. Hot tears were threatening to fall from his reddened eyes, but he fought them back. He couldn't take it anymore, he felt like his brain was going to explode.

"I'm losing my mind…"

The singer looked up helplessly at the woman who was identical to his wife, his heart wrenched at the sight of her standing there, her lips curled upwards in that familiar way that has always cheered him up every time he was down, and her dark hair that he enjoys playing with fell down perfectly on her shoulders. His eyes drifted down to rest on one particular tattoo covering her deltoid, a tattoo that resembled how much love she had for him, a tattoo of her beloved husband's name.

"It's my Adie…"

His brain was screaming at him to run away from whoever this person was, but his heart disagreed, he was trying to convince himself that this was real, that this was his wife, that he wasn't crazy. He wanted this to be real.

Billie's lips trembled uncontrollably and his eyes became watery. He looked like a lost child who has just found his mother. "Adie…?" a tear escaped his eye, but he wiped it away quickly with his sleeve "Is this really you…?" His voice cracked.

Adrienne bit her lip and let out a quiet laugh, and without warning, she threw herself at her husband and hugged him tightly, her head resting on his shoulder.

Billie froze. He wanted to push her away, but her embrace was too warm, and it smelled like his beautiful Adie. How is that possible? He couldn't help but hug her back, he wrapped his arms around her warm body and squeezed her gently.

Billie heaved a sigh and breathed in her beautiful scent, it felt like her, and he felt like he was home. She let go of him slowly and looked up at his tired eyes. "I'm always with you Billie Joe" she caressed his face and he leaned into her touch.

"I missed you Adie.." Billie breathed out as he looked deeply into his wife's eyes.

"I know honey, I know. I missed you too. The kids miss you so much"

"I just wanna come home..I shouldn't have left" Another tear rolled down his cold cheeks.

"No, no don't say that" Adrienne said as she wiped his tears with her thumbs.

"I'm sorry Adie, I don't…I don't deserve you…"

"Shhh…" Adrienne put her finger on Billie's lips to silence him. "It's alright, everything's fine..Just don't think too much okay? " She held his head between her hands and looked sympathetically at him, he nodded and sniffed quietly.

She pushed his head down slowly to lie on her chest, her arms patted his back and stroked it gently while he wrapped his arms around her as she comforted him. She ran her fingers through his soft hair and he sighed, enjoying the feeling of comfort and peace she was giving him.

They stayed like that for a couple of minutes before Billie broke the peaceful silence.

"It's so fucking cold Adie, the fuck are you wearing?"

Adrienne giggled and looked at her husband who stood upright and giggled along with her, she leaned forward and kissed him softly. He closed his eyes and his heart jumped at the feeling of his wife's lips on his. It's definitely my Adie.

Billie felt himself being pushed against the wall, he gasped as his back collided with the hard bricks. Adrienne planted soft kisses on his cheeks while taking his jacket off and then throwing it on the floor, she unzipped his hoodie a little and pushed down the fabric of his shirt just enough to expose his left shoulder. Billie pushed his head against the wall and closed his eyes. He felt like he was flying, like he was the happiest person on earth, this was too good to be true.

"I must be dreaming"

****************

The road seemed endless; there were no signs of life, only fucking trees all around us. "Is it supposed to be that far…I need to take a piss..damn" Billie groaned.

We were still high, I was pretty sure that Billie was now taking his tenth hit, which was all we got left. "I'm not stopping dude" I snatched the joint from his hand and put it in my mouth, he whined in protest and uttered a "fuck you" under his breath.

"I dare you to pee out the window…" I said out of nowhere.

"What?" He snorted. "What if I get piss all over myself, what if it hits my face man?"

"Some of it might even get in your mouth"

"Yeah, it doesn't taste good.."

"You would know"

Billie stuck out his tongue at me and turned around "I think I've left some empty booze bottles back here from last night.." He moved heavily to the backseat, his stomach landed on the seat while his legs were dangling in the front, his right foot hit my shoulder and he was laughing hysterically at God knows what.

"Hey careful there you idiot…"

It took Billie a while to sit properly on the backseat and stop laughing like a crazy man, he found what he was looking for. "I'm gonna piss in this, don't look at me Tre. I will feel very uncomfortable if you stare…" he giggled for the millionth time that day as he unbuckled his belt.

"Don't worry about that Billie, there's nothing to look at anyway" I saw his reflection on the rear view mirror as he flipped me off.

My gaze turned back to the road, it was still the same. I hoped we don't run out of gas before we get to the studio.

I passed a couple of identical trees, and then I noticed something far on the edge of the road, it seemed like a sign, and a very big one. As I approached it, I slowed down a little to see what that sign said. It was black and rusty, and there were three huge words written on it.

"Welcome to Silent Hill"

I remember thinking how strange that was, I've never heard of that name before, and it was definitely not on the map.

The moment I passed that sign, I saw something that caught me off guard, it was a fucking mist. "What the..?" it was weird how it just came out of nowhere, I felt like we've been moved to another area in a matter of a second. I looked behind me and the back window was also white.

I thought I was seeing things, I was a little high after all, but it seemed so fucking real. We were surrounded by whiteness and I couldn't see a fucking thing in front of me.

Billie finished up his business and returned to his seat next to me."What's wrong with you? Your face looks weird.." he asked.

"Look at the road Billie, there's a fucking mist…" I shouted, how could he not notice this?

I heard Billie gasp and I turned my head to see his eyes wide open, he then pointed at the road and screamed. "Tre careful!!!!" I looked back at the road.

And then, everything faded to black in front of me.

Tre shot up straight in bed, he was covered in sweat despite the very cold room, and he was breathing heavily. He looked around wide eyed, trying to figure out where he was. He realized then that he was dreaming, but it didn't feel like a dream.

The drummer was pretty sure that what he saw in his sleep has actually happened, he was remembering things, his memory came back to him and he dreamt it.

"What the hell happened after that? I can't fucking remember" Tre murmured quietly, fear started to build up inside of him when he recalled what he has read in that diary he found in the living room. It said something about Silent Hill, about it being a place where the sinners get punished or some shit like that.

"Fuck are we lost in this town?!" Tre thought. His eyes laid on the moved desk and chairs that he himself blocked the door with before going to bed; he gasped and looked down at the left side of the bed beside him. It was empty.

"Damn it Billie where did you go?!!"

****************

Billie bit hard on his bottom lip when Adrienne's teeth cut through the sensitive skin of his shoulder, he was pretty sure it was going to leave a very visible mark on there."Adie.." a moan escaped his mouth as he squeezed his eyes shut, his head was thrown back against the wall, giving his wife more access to his shoulder and neck.

It's been so long since Billie has seen his wife, and with all that's been going on recently his brain just shut down, he was in no condition to actually think about the whole situation he was in right now, and how odd it was.

The biting got a lot harder, and Billie couldn't help but utter a yelp, his chest was rising and falling with each breath he took, it seemed impossible to get enough air into his lungs. His fingers dug deeper into Adrienne's' waist when he felt sharp pain spread through his shoulder, followed by the feel of blood oozing out of him.

"Ouch!" He cried out. "Adie…Adie baby slow down" he whispered, trying to keep his voice calm to not show his wife that he started to feel a little uncomfortable. The eager woman lifted her head up and met her husband's gaze to find hazy green eyes looking down at her. His lips were slightly parted and a little swollen, and his face glistened with sweat.

Billie noticed the blood on Adrienne's lips as she smiled at him, she caressed his cheek with her thumb and giggled. "Did I hurt you love?"

That obviously sarcastic question emitted a soft giggle from the singer, despite the horrible pain he was in, he just couldn't help but smile at his wife. "You can never hurt me Adrienne.." he said as he ran his hand over the soft skin of her arm.

Adrienne leaned closer to Billie and nibbled his ear lobe gently before whispering three words that made him go completely stiff. "But you can…"

Billie's mouth dropped open. That cruelly spoken tone did not sound like his Adie's."Wha.." the confused singer winced when Adrienne's sharp fingernails dug into the wound on his shoulder. He didn't have time to recover from the pain as she started to bite down on his neck, ten times harder this time.

"Adie Stop!!" Billie yelled at his wife as tears rolled down his face, he couldn't take the pain anymore, it just wasn't ordinary. His hands moved to rest on her shoulders, he tried to push her away with all the strength he had, but he couldn't because he was pressed forcefully against the wall. He knew he wasn’t that macho, but still, it was unrealistic how she was way stronger than him.

"What's wrong with you Adie?! Stop it hurts!!" Billie screamed as he felt his flesh being torn out by the woman who was chewing hungrily on his skin like a fucking zombie, and who also was comforting him just a few minutes ago.

A sudden light blinded the singer and he closed his eyes. The light of the very far lighthouse moved to the couple's direction, and after a few moments it moved to another direction. Billie squinted his eyes, it took him a while to be able to see again. When he looked down at his wife, he found that her long black hair was now replaced by a short silver one.

Billie's eyes widened and he gasped in shock. "What the fuck!!" He wasn't able to see her face as she was now biting his collarbone. The pain was unbearable, he had to make it stop. His hand reached the back of the silver soft hair and he pulled it forcefully, making the woman's head jerk up and her face became just inches away from his.

The face he was greeted with made him feel completely numb. The image of this face looking at him was going to be printed on his brain for eternity.

The woman who looked like Adie turned out to be something entirely different, something that should not exist in real life, something that nobody deserves to see, ever.

The face that was looking at Billie was very pale, but that was not the problem. The problem was that half of it was missing. The nose, mouth and jaw were all smashed off, and there was a large hollow cavity around the eyes that do not exist anymore.

This horrifying "woman" seemed like she was actually a doll or a mannequin or something; her face didn't look like it was covered with skin, it seemed like it was made out of plastic. However, blood was dripping from this crushed face like a broken wine bottle. Her body was also splattered with blood, and she was wearing a very short provocative dress that showed her ripped off stockings and her crimson red bra.

Sounds of faint moaning combined with soft wheezing cackles and giggles were coming out of this woman, they were very disturbing. The helpless man she was pinning against the wall was just staring at her, his face has gone completely white and his eyes were fixed on her empty non-existing eyes.

All the physical pain was now forgotten, the shock made Billie feel nothing. The creature that was stuck like glue on his body was terrifying enough to make him pass out and fade into darkness.
