we can be heroes just for one day
So tonight I read all of my old journal entries. I'm really glad I kept a journal of my college career, there are a lot of things I would have forgotten if i hadn't documented my life electronically. Granted, there are a lot of things I just didn't write about, i kinda stopped writing about a year ago. I don't really know why I discontinued writing. When I look back I can remember how much fun it was to write and remember things that made me smile or got on my nerves. I wrote a lot about Faye and Garon and the shenanigans that ensued.
I haven't really made an entry in this thing forever. So I'm going to try right now...

Garon and I chilled tonight and played video games while drinking beer (some things never change). Kate Skerke and Rachel came over around midnight and were good company.
My life has been a roller coaster for about 6 months - lots of ups and downs. I'm graduating from college in about a month and am looking forward to some sort of normalcy or stability. Rachel and I broke up in the middle of may and things have been fairly crazy ever since. We have just recently decided we'd be happiest with each other and are taking steps toward rebuilding.
I have been interning since the middle of may too. I worked for University Marketing and Communications over the summer. Kind of a funny story. I needed a bike to get to work cause I don't have a car. One night in early summer Faye got drunk and stole me a bike on his way home from the bars. Of course it was too small, but I rode it anyways. Also, it was bright yellow. I had to spray paint it a less conspicuous color to ride it around. And I looked like a goon on stolen bike when I was riding it around. Ironically, the building where I interned was shared by the University Police Department. Har. Har.
I didn't shower today, and I need a haircut.
There's a lot of other stuff going on right now, Journal. It will have to wait because I'm tired and require sleep. See you soon? I hope so.
