Postponed
My at home eye test, due Thursday, was postponed as the optician went home 'not feeling well'. So I am waiting to hear about the re-scheduling of a new appointment.
I sent my very robust response to EDF Energy and received the usual automated response. They will respond within five days. I won't hold my breath... Meanwhile it appears that they are going to bill me monthly. I have received a bill. through 24th November on an estimated reading for £105 which still leaves me £300 in credit. I shall send my own meter reading on 28th November to get an accurate account.
Brother Dave davesmusictank is arriving next Tuesday and staying through Friday. Looking forward to seeing him again.
That's it for now. I will be making some more soup this afternoon with produce I have left. An odd assembly of sweet potatoes, onion, button mushrooms, lentils, garlic, vegetable stock and a little milk. Not sure how this is going to taste!
