A Wonderful New Year's Eve
Ros and I motored over to Chailey (near Lewes) to spend the day through New Year with our friends Graeme and Anne. We enjoyed another fabulous lunch at The Five Bells Inn at Chailey Green.
This establishment serves up the best Beer Battered Haddock with Triple Cooked Chunky Chips, Pea Mélange and Tartare Sauce, I have ever enjoyed. Followed by Panettone Bread & Butter Pudding with fruits and fresh cream. A truly indulgent dessert!
The evening was spent watching TV including the movie Spectre for the nth time and a table loaded with pastries, cheeses and other nibbles with a few glasses of wine.
Back home today looking forward to watching Brighton & Hove Albion vs Chelsea and the World Darts Final on Sky Sports.
