the final countdown (not the Europe kind either ^_^)
Hmm I guess I really should have begun this countdown a bit earlier but Ive been too busy with work lately to even begin to consider thinking about another aspect of my upcoming schedule This week I have worked over 50 hours at Laser Force... which is a strain on even the most sanest person's sanity Having been through a kids day and a party night as well as birthday parties involving as many kids as there are grains of sand on the beach I am exhausted to say the least. However all is not gloom and dispair as my many hours of slavery translate into much-needed funds for my Sydney trip... which is 3 days away! I am most looking forward to being away from Brisbane- from work mainly but also the daily pressures and chaos that are part of the tapesty that is my life. For those of you who are in the dark as to why I would be making a 11 day stopover in Sydney I am participating as the North Korean delegate to the 1st General Assembly Committee of International Security and Disarmament (hehe it sounds a lot more impressive then it really is ) in the Asia Pacific Model UN Conference. Needless to say I will also be involving myself in the tourist bit as well- sightseeing, eating at 5 star buffet restaurants and what not..
on another topic I am also engaged in securing employment for my Alliance comrades at Lasers As Michelle is currently seeking more fodder for the perpetual quagmire that is my workplace, I am attempting to persaude the powers that be to consider the applications of both Scythe and Kaiser. If I am successful this will counter the growing power of the Mckeachie/Kelly Coalition while at the same time arresting the threat from the Hunter group (there is much background story to the power politics at Lasers- I will elaborate...one of these days). I have also asked for my specialised name badge to be labelled as 'Alliance Officer'... am also still awaiting the results from this venture.
and thus concludes yet another post from your Commander... I will most likely be making another entry prior to my departure on Thursday so stay tuned...
