Closing the Newsletter
lilacsigil and I have decided that we're going to close the newsletter. We and assorted volunteers have been running comicstore_news for over a decade: Volume 1, Issue 1 was posted 12th of August 2006. It's been fun, and we've been lucky to work with a lot of people, but it's time to stop now. Fandom isn't the same place it was back in 2006, the newsletter gets smaller every year, and volunteers (we love you guys!) are harder to rustle up.
We're going to leave the comm archived, since it's a part of fandom history. Thank you to everyone who helped keep the newsletter going for the past eleven years.
