Last night I went to bed at about 10:30, thinking how nice it would be to go to sleep at a respectable time and wake up the next morning knowing that Barack Obama was now officially the President of the US. God, what a horrifying story. :( Roaches really are the worst. I really can't decide whether I might hate them more than my original arch nemesis, the spider.

Ooh you wouldn't like my house. We have a pet spider who lives on the windowsill. She just had babies so there are hundreds of tiny spiders in her web. I'm not generally a lover of spiders but I can handle Matilda when she doesn't move too much.

OH DEAR!!! You've made me laugh, but I sympathise with you too. It's the brown ones I can't stand. Urghh. And they move so fast. double-urghh. ooh the scuttle. *shivers*

Yeah it's usually the brown ones I can't stand either - one flew at me the other night and I was screaming and screaming and mum just laughed. This one was black with little yellow bits on the side. WEIRD.

ah now that was a bush cockroach - not a crawly nasty drain and rubbish cockroach, but a native one that lives under dead leaves and eats stuff that it finds in the garden and in the bush. And for some strange reason I really like these ones. I know. It's weird. The brown ones make me shudder and run, but I can pick up the bush cockroaches on my hand and I think they're rather beautiful. Yep, weird I know.

LMFAO, i just wiped a tear away from my eye, i had a similar story with a f&*$ing huge lizard in my house, it took 5 minutes, a stick and a lot of screaming but i got it out of the house!!! I hate roaches toooo

I must say that i am glad Barack is the new president perhaps he can begin to clean up the mess Bush has left.

He made it clear that that was his plan in his speech. And you know what his first act as president was? Stopping the trial of Guantanamo prisoners. WOW. He is going to get shit DONE.

Aw, I love getting birdie snuggles.

Awful cockroach story. My father didn't sleep much in his last several weeks, and so he had a lot of time to just lie in bed staring around the room. He told my aunt that he often saw cockroaches out at night, crawling around her apartment. Freaky.

I'm now staying in my dad's old room. =/
