(no subject)
So I have been neglecting you, fair livejournal, but I just came home and felt like it was time to post.
I had a horrible day at work and was barely enduring the bus ride home when I saw a friend from school get on at Mt Lawley IGA. I saw her a few weeks ago when she was walking to the shop and i was walking home from the shop and we realised we lived on adjacent streets, after not having seen each other for a couple of years. So I wave to her as she gets on the bus and she comes and sits with me and we talk and she invites me over for a cup of tea so I go, I meet her dad, and we talk about travelling and i admire her 1976 Rolling Stone magazines. Then I say I have to go home (my house is a MESS) and I ask if she wants to come along and she does, so we go to my house and I show her my Mum's garden and she looks across the backyard and that's when we realise... we are back fence neighbours.
So that's pretty cool.
I have been reading like, one Meg Cabot book a day this week. I am out of control.
Need food now. Artichokes look ripe.
