strange ramble

I always feel weird when people talk about facebook and privacy, because there are plenty of measures in place that block the public from any information you want it to... if you use them. Not only that, but it's not like it has any information you didn't give it so... if you're really worried about something on facebook being revealed, don't put it on facebook. I always considered sites like megaupload/rapidshare/mediafire to be much more skeevy than anything like facebook, but maybe I'm just remembering the days that to even get an account you had to have a .edu email address. I preferred the site a bit then, I guess.

Not really sure what spawned this, but maybe it's because I play my cards so close to my vest that if I don't want something known, the only person who ever knows it is me, you know? IDK.

apparently I get rambly near the end of my shift, who knew? Feel free to school me if I'm wrong. I welcome all information to broaden my horizon or correct invalid views... ALWAYS.
