So, the DC reboot. How 'bout that, huh? Plot stuff, etc etc. But I am visual, so I pay attention to the new costumes.
You may notice that I didn't draw the S-symbol the way it looks in the promotional pictures. That is because I hate the way it look sin the pictures. Other than that though... I dunno what I think of this outfit. The collar looks so formal--aesthetically I do like that looks, but. Not sure how I feel about it on Clark. And the more armored-style... makes sense for Batman and characters without invulnerability, but Superman's skin is going to be more durable than just about anything he puts on over it, so what's the point? Unless it's made of lead and can block kryptonite--except his face and hands are still bare, so that wouldn't help him.
Weirdly, though, the thing I dislike the most is the belt being red. Is there anyone else here who's always read the yellow bits on his costume as gold? I always did, in spite of the movies. I blame Booster. So I read the belt as being metallic--and I still do, only now it's red metal. Bleh.
It's still way better than that wtf jeans, t-shirt and cape combo, though. Or the electric-blue look. Gotta remember how much worse things could be.
