January 1: Sign-ups Open
May 1st - Artist Sign Ups close + Fic Rough Drafts Due
May 3rd - Artist Claims Open
June 3rd - Artist Rough Drafts Due
June 10th - Big Bang Posting Begins
July 10th - End of Big Bang Posting

Now it is two weeks left until the rough drafts are due, so here you can find what a rough draft is for this challenge:

1. A minimum word count of 7,000 words.
   I’m not going to be martinets about this. If you're only at 5,000 words, but it's clear you're well on the way to finishing, that works for me. But if you're only at 1,000 words, you may have a problem :)
2. A reasonably complete outline of any unfinished scenes.
   The outline can be as complete (massively detailed descriptions of every remaining incident in the story) or as brief ("insert sex scene here") as you like.
3. A reasonable confidence that you will be able to finish the whole story (10,000 word minimum) by the June 10th deadline (it's the last day you can choose for your posting date).
   This last bit is the most important. Since it gets handed to an artist at this point, we'd like for the artist not to work on something that isn't going to get done.
4. If you don’t want an artist or if you are making art for your own story without another artist, you don’t have to send the rough draft. There will be a separate post for ‘artist-less’ writers later :)
