work, cons, weddings, and contests
Wow. I can't believe I've been so frakkin' busy lately. Between workin' extra hours because the daily move, one of my coworkers getting married and the general uptime this season, I've been doing a bunch more crap on top of that! Getting ready for fanime of course, costume shopping etc. maybe if everything works out I'll even be going as a RECOGNIZABLE character this year. Also, may be going to wonder con as well, but that's sort of yet to bee seen.. EVEN THOUGH IT'S THIS FREAKIN' WEEKEND. I just don't know if I want to go all the way to frisco when I have no money anyway..
Lets see, other than that, getting things together for Pat's wedding hopefully all goes well in that department. and aside from that I'm trying to get things together for a few contests. One on DA that I completed the sketch for (OMFG DA? I haven't checked anything there for like... a year or something. soooo many unread messages...) and the other for the Jumper comics to film contest. I submitted my entry today, and needless to say with the time constraints, that has definitely been taking up most of my free time. But it's all done, scenes shot, edited, effects added, sound optimized. All that good stuff. It didn't turn out quite the way I envisioned it, but everyone kept bailing on me so, I made do with what I had and think that it turned out decent enough. Trying to take it in a completely different direction that the source material but still stay true to the idea. Hope it worked. Gah I was up till 6am last night finishing editing and then got up at 7! When I first uploaded my video it got stuck at 76%, so I re-uploaded, came back to the compy and the screen had gone back to the jumper home, so I'm assuming it took. kinda annoying that I didn't get any email verification, but I don't want to chance a double submit and get disqualified, I'm already worried enough about that with the first attempt that got stuck. Hopefully they'll see what happened and sort it out.
Anyway, hopefully I'll get off of work in time to cash my check and make it to my lenscrafters appointment. Hard to believe my car got broken into not so long ago ne?
OH I also go Cherie a PSP for Valentine's Day (She had already pre ordered Crisis Core with the intent on saving up to get one before the game came out.) so yeah. Josh is very broke.... T_T
