Chicago/Suicide Silence
On Monday, my band got to play a show with Suicide Silence, which was awesome, and they were sweet live. Also we got a lot of good feedback on our new songs, and hope to record them in september.
They next day, i went to Chi-town, with Maura, and we saw Paramore, Jack's mannequin, phantom planet, and paper route, which was a sweet show also. We got early entry tickets, so we got into the show a lot earlier than anyone else, which was cool because the line was 6 blocks long. Before paramore maura felt like she was going to be sick, because she hadnt eaten since 10 am, so we lost our spot in the front of the crowd, but after getting water, and feeling better, we were able to work our way up to the same spot. After the show mauras mom got lost and we waited 2 hours before deciding to call a cab back to the hotel. The next day, we walked around chicago and shopped, and did cool things like that, and it was really fun. For dinner we went to Gino's East pizzeria and it was delicious. The next morning we got up at 730, but didnt get home until 430, and i had to race to work, but overall it was a good trip.
I start school in a week and a half, and im not super nervous, but i want to be able to get all of my summer work done before i go back. I think i will be ok, a long as i dont get sidetracked.
This will be my senior year! Hopefully it will be a good year, and one to remember.
Maura and My one year anniversary is september 15th, only a month away!
