Tapping out rhythms that only exist in Tony’s mind.
Jittery after too much coffee, sloppy after too much booze. But always strong, always moving.
Those fingers are frequently filthy, smeared with oil and grime.
It’s Pepper’s influence that keeps them from being stained with nicotine.
It’s Pepper who keeps the tremble from those fingers on the bad days.
Tony’s fingers move for differently for Pepper.
They’re gentle when they brush her face, when they stroke her hair. They buzz with excitement when they tug her hand. They’re both hurried and carefully respectful when they pull at her clothes, when they slip buttons free.
