The Pull List - Jan 9th

Jan 07, 2008 08:24

Last week's $30 was stuck to, with the final purchases racking up to $25 (with Buffy, SW: Legacy, Countdown, Annihilation Conquest, Thunderbolts, Uncanny X-Men and Doktor Sleepless making the final cut, and I may yet still pick up the filler issue of Atom which would, I guess, make $28)- and now that I'm all caught up on last year's books, this week's list takes some hits...

COUNTDOWN TO FINAL CRISIS #16 - The big battle looms - which makes me wonder whats going to happen in the book for the next three months...
GREEN LANTERN CORPS #20 - Maybe. Last issue's Sinestro War epilogue was okay but not great. Not sure if I'm sticking around.
NIGHTWING #140 - I like the character but lets face it the book has been heading downhill for years. If Nicieza was sticking around, maybe - but sorry, not right now.
SALVATION RUN #3 - Fun enough but it really needs to kick off now.
SUPERMAN #672 - The Insect Queen storyline continues.
YOUNGBLOOD #1 - You know, somebody has to pick up this book and I kind of want to...but not enough to cut something else so there you go...
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #546 - This extra dollar is going to play havoc with my system...but I'm still looking forward to the new status quo even though I hate the way it got here.
HULK #1 - The preview didn't do too much for me so that's that. Let me know if its any good.
MIGHTY AVENGERS #7 - Finally beginning to catch up to the rest of the MU, as Spider-Woman delivers Skrullektra to Tony and the symbiotes attack.
NOVA #10 - No talking Russian dog, which makes me sad - but plenty of good stuff anyway!
ONSLAUGHT REBORN #5 - I know. Please don't say anything. Just...don't. I have a sickness, okay?!?
TWELVE #1 - I'll be honest, this wasn't even on my list to start with...but I suspect it will sell well anyway.
X-FACTOR #27 - Messiah Complex has, against expectation, turned out okay even if it does feel a tad directionless at times.

The only wildcard is Avatar and Red5 publications right now - nothing's scheduled from Red5 this week, so unless BLACK SUMMER comes out, I should be safe.

Last week's carry over: $5
This week's total: $28
Next week's carry over: $7
