Post Chicago..
So we got home like 3 hours ago..
It feels SO good to be HOME, yes I said it, Oakland is HOME. Having had a week or so to see friends from chicago, i have come to realize that while its nice to visit, that Chicago is not home anymore, for that matter WI isn't home either. I have a group of people here that have welcomed me into the community.
While at Bear Pride, I told Anders that i wanted to get involved in the planning for IBR, and possibly get on the board next year for BOSF, which is something i'd NEVER in a million years think of doing had i not been welcomed the way i did here.
Even though i say Chicago is nice to visit, that's not to say my friends there aren't important. My "true" friends i love and will always love regardless of my location.
