So whats new?
lessee...parents are fine, siblings are fine (brother got a sweet position at one of the hospitals downtown, sis is pregnant (again) with a girl, and other sis is househunting with her longtime bf, nephew is fine, girlie is fine, pets are fine, nephew is fine grandma's...not so fine. Her increasing age plus deteriorating health has me extremely worried. She's been in the hospital for a couple weeks, doctors are trying to figure out just whats wrong. She's sort of improving, but not enough to a point that pleases me. I do so hope she'll be okay.
What else? Hm. Work is work. Getting a raise soon, possibly a promotion since everyone else seems to be quitting. Really hope I hear back from that law firm soon. Then I can work both jobs and never see any of my friends or family ever again, except for weekend mornings, between the hours of noon and five on saturdays, and ten and noon on sundays.
Wee.
The holidays are coming up, and i can't wait for them to be here. I miss you all, and thats always a good excuse to see folks I may have lost touch with over the past year. I'm probably not doing anything special for my birthday, as I'll more than likely be at work. Just as well I suppose, since I wouldnt really be able to plan anything anyhow. I wouldn't even be able to think of something I'd wanna do. Wouldn't go out, since I don't drink anymore, food is nothing special, etc. etc.
Car is still running fine and will through winter as long as I fix a few things first (hopefully) My luck seems to be I always lose my cars in winter. At night. On the coldest possible day of the year, on the most deserted stretch of road for 50 miles.
...or on Christmas morning with a car full of gifts and cookies. You know, either or.
Grace is coming home soon. Can't wait, I miss her so. Oh, yeah, and the guy she's coming back with too. (I guess.)
