Joker 2.0

7:39 PM 12/17/07 · I suppose it's fitting in a way that the last episode of the season featured the Joker. However, The Batman may've gone a little bit over the top by having more than one.

It starts with the interesting discovery that apparently Robin plays online adventure games under the name Nightwing; I almost choked up my breakfast when I saw that. His best adversary in the game, as it turns out, is the new genius working for the Joker in an inventive aspect. He makes a device that will enable the Clown to simply steal money online mentally.

As expected, Batman busts in and puts a stop to that and Joker receives a serious knock on the head. However, while he's down for the count...it seems being jacked into the system has created a personality template of the Joker online...who takes over the gang while the real McCoy is out of it.

Waynetech's newest toys are self·replicating nanites that can put themselves into any shape (kinda writes itself) and the online Joker gets wind of this and uses them to escape cyberspace and pop into the real world. He takes over the gang and is about to start issuing orders...

...when the real Joker shows up and things get interesting.

Okay, I just gotta say this was a very fun episode and I was dying of laughter all the way through. Especially when Joker 2.0, s'what he called himself, first leapt from online to the physical realm via the nanites and said, "I feel like a million bots!"

It's punny...go with it!

There's a couple more here that I didn't include in this post: Clicky!
