A Good Day

School was only 4 hours long today because of a football game + a Jewish holiday. Suh-weet! :D This meant I had lots of time to get some work done on a Psych music video I'm making. It's about Shawn and Gus' friendship, and so far I'm liking how it's coming together. But now after having worked on it for so long, I think I used up all of my creative juices or something. So tomorrow, I'm having myself a Psych marathon to seek out more good scenes to use. :)

Anyways, today I got myself yet another Avatar BK Toy, and this time it was Azula! :D So now I have her toy and her super awesome trading card. And with my new toy, there was a new episode tonight as well.

Ok, so this week's episode didn't impress me too much in comparison to SotFN last week, but one Avatar episode is way better than none, right?

So the gang is now in Ba Sing Se...and things aren't as awesome as I thought they were gonna be. :P Apparently the place is divded up by social classes, and it made the gang a bit upset, Aang the most because it's different from the way how the monks he grew up with let people live. I was disappointed too, because the artisans got shoved into the crappy part of the gigantic city, and that just doesn't seem right.

Obessive!Jet was interesting to see. He was stalking Zuko and Iroh the whole time, just to get proof that they were indeed firebenders like he suspected in 2x13, but he had no such luck. However, this lead into a fight with him against Zuko, who used his awesome swords instead of firebendng. In the end though, Jet got arrested, and then at the end of the episode, it's like some weird Avatar-style Men In Black scene when they keep making a bright lamp thing circle around Jet's face in order to make him forget about thoughts of the war going on and such.

Seriously, the higher-ups in Ba Sing Se really need to realize that they can't possibly hide people from the thought of the war forever. They were flipping out when the gang kept trying to go see the Earth King to tell him of a war plan involving an eclipse to weaken the fire nation. I mean...sure, go ahead and try to make your little perfect society. It can only last for so long before people are aware of the war again.

And Katara & Toph in dresses was quite different. Why did they have to give Toph those braids though? Ever since I first saw photos from the 2006 San Diego Comic Con, I've been annoyed by them because they just don't seem like something Toph would have. However, Katara was quite pretty, and this led into a tad bit of Kataang with a pinch of Sokkara when Aang said Katara looked beautiful and Sokka flicked him in the head. XD *pets protective!Sokka and gives him a treat*

And I guess that's it for now.

See ya! ;)
