Valentine's Day!
John is the most amazing guy in the entire world. He set me up REALLY well. Haha.
So, a few weeks ago, he told me he needed my help for his homework. He told me to tell him my dream meal & he had to find the calorie intake for that meal in class. I told him everything, which consisted of Vanilla Pepsi, boneless buffalo wings with ranch dressing, salad with just cheese, onions, croutons, & a certain dressing, steak (filet mignon), baked potato with butter, sour cream, & cheese, & a white chocolate mocha from Starbucks for dessert. I thought NOTHING of it again and honestly thought he was using it for class.
Well, tonight he showed up at my dorm around 6:15, picked me up, and drove to a golf course parking lot, which was I REALLY confused about. Haha. But he just parked and blindfolded me. He told me that we were going to a really fancy restaurant that he put reservations in for weeks ago but he didn't want me to guess where it was. He drove around for about 10 minutes and finally stopped. He came and got me out of the car, carried me inside (it was muddy out, haha), where a CD with a bunch of our songs was playing and he told me to sit down while he did some stuff.
He finally told me to take the blindfold off. We were at his house , down in his basement, and he had a really cute candlelit dinner set up. He included EVERYTHING I said I wanted in my dream meal and it was all delicious. After dinner, he took me to Starbucks for my dessert. <3
With that he gave me flowers, a really cute card, and 10 Things I Hate About You on DVD, which we watched when we got back from Starbucks. =]
It was so incredible. Last Valentine's Day, the poor guy was sick with Pneumonia, so needless to say, this year was MUCH better! Haha. I know he put so much thought into it all and he worked so hard to get it all perfect and it most definitely was. As much as I didn't even think it was possible, I completely fell head over heels in love with him all over again tonight. He's absolutely wonderful.
