My birthday was on Thursday & I did pretty much nothing all day except hang around the house with John. At 1:01 am, which is what time I was born, he gave me my birthday present...a GORGEOUS promise ring. I absolutely love it. <3 It's so cute. My mom, John, & I went out to dinner at Olive Garden, which was delicious, of course. And John bought me a bunch of toys that he wrapped just so that I would have things to open. Haha. It was cute. =)
On Friday we left for Lamoni, Iowa to go to John's family reunion for the weekend. We had our first road trip together and it was so freaking fun, lol. I loved it. It was about a 3.5-4 hour drive and it didn't seem anywhere near that amount of time. Lamoni is a little tiny farm town that, according to a billboard we saw on the way here, consists of antiques, amish crafts, bike trails, and Graceland University. Yes...this town is that small. Hahaha. It's hilarious. It's fun, though.
We're coming back on Monday afternoon sometime, so I'll be gone until then.
