Popcorn, Manicure, Pedicure, and Movies
Well, I didnt make it to my dads last night to spend time with my little sister....but she did make it here. We didnt eat any ice cream, but we did eat a shit load of popcorn. We watched some movies like my fave, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She started crying at the part where the little girl is in the hospital dying. I felt so bad. I wasnt sure what to do. So..to turn her attention away from that part, I gave her a manicure and pedicure. Then we decorated my nail kit box with nail polish. LOL! I know it sounds weird or maybe even stupid...but it made her night. Later on, we went to bed and she slept in my room on the blow up bed thingy....but later on I had to get up to use the bathroom and found her laying beside me. That made MY night. I love being the older sister, but sometimes I really wish I wasnt the oldest of 6 kids. I always wanted someone I could look up to...besides my mother, of course. But like I said, last night, being an older sister, just made my day.
She was going to skip school again today, but I told her that she might wanna go and at least catch up on the work she missed the past couple of days. And being around the friends she has now might also help too. She agreed and I took her to school this morning. Betsy (better known as the little bitch from previous posts) has been making fun of her and everything. Telling her she doesnt need to be crying and to get over it. I dont understand why Betsy is telling Katie (little sister) all this b/c Betsy had a boyfriend and best friend die in a car wreck about a year and 1/2 ago. All well. I told Katie just to ingore her for now. What else can I say? Or what else do I say?
Anyways.
It rained it ass off yesterday morning....then as the day went on it turned into sleet....then it snowed last night. We got 1/2 inch of snow. Half of it is still on the ground now.
