Sometimes I wonder..
Sometimes I wonder why my neighbor warms his car up for an hour when it's not even cold out. It's kind of funny.
Right now I have a sore throat that I've had since Tuesday night? Monday night? It is now accompanied with a dull headache.
Rachel told me on Wednesday that she's impressed with me all over, and how well I'm doing. While she's out of the store for a month managing the Barton Creek store, she told me that I will be her right hand man. So basically I'm the second boss. Suhweeeet. She's going to teach me how to do payroll and that's exciting! Nan, my District Manager will be in the store today for a half day, and I'm excited about that.
With the holidays coming up, I'm kind of bummed that I know I'll be working sooo much. Retail in a small store is much different than a big store. But it's kind of nice to know that I'm counted on, so I think only have a few days during the season off will be alright.
Last night in closing the store, the safe was impossible to open, and then once I brokethrough and it finally did open, it then locked itself that way so that I couldn't even close it. What a freakin' hassle. Joanne and I were there until 10, which is a half hour later than anyone is usually there, and now I'm up, and going to go into work from 9-6.
With Janet gone for her mother, and Anais gone for her daughter, we're really short handed. So everyone else gets longer shifts. Yay... hah. Hopefully we'll be hiring someone else soon.
That's it. All I care about is work right now.
