Oh! That's super nice of you! I saw her yesterday and it was horrid and her parents weren't particularly helpful when I tried to reason with them on the telephone!

That's incredibly nice of you. Thank you so much. She's really into gymnastics, and actually competes on a pretty high level. Food is tricky, because she has a reflux disease (I forget the name), but she's not bulimic. I've had plenty of meals with her, and I've never been suspicious that she might be making herself ill afterwards.
She's also very religious (Catholic), so I don't think anything of that nature would go amiss. She'd love it.

Edwina said she liked ice cream, but that is meant to be nothing but a disaster to transport through the mail system. Still, I think I have a few ideas based on what you and she have said.
I just hope that a gesture as small as this can help a little bit. She just seems so terribly distraught and... well, it's just the sort of thing that tears me up. It's the grandmother in me, I think.
