God Speak
Attended a Church Admin. Staff retreat at Batam on 24 to 25 Feb 08.
The moment we enter into the meeting room, our speaker want us to form a circle and walk round the room. At the same time we are told to read Psalm 103.
The moment I walk, two word came into my mind : Be pure.
I believe God want me to have a pure heart in this 1 and the half day retreat. He want me spend time with Him and listen to what He want to tell me.
After we finished reading the whole chapter, the speaker asked us stop walking and stand facing inward. Then she asked us take turn to read 1 scripture per person.
My reading was Psalm 103 : 3 - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.
God is real. During the prayer I claim the healing power from Him - He will heal my breathless problem and my red blood cell problem. And I believe He have forgive all my wrong doing.
In the afternoon she gave us a handout and ask us spend time to read it. After my reading, God prompted me to write down what I have been doing in Church of Our Saviour since 1996.
After the meeting, I hug my colleague and told him I miss my friend (Johnny who passed away last MAy). as he started to pray for me, I cry out loud. (In my journal I did recored down when I met Johnny and when he passed away)
The next day morning, I have the honour to have breakfast with the speaker. When she ask what is my background, I told her what I had wrote down and she challenge me looking forward to the next 21 years hehe.
During the morning session, she ask us to choose one of the Gospel to read, and I chosen John.
God speak again, in John 15 : 5 - apart from me, you can do nothing.
Without God, I won't be stay in the same job (with different churches) for 21 years. Without God I won't experience what I had in my 3 mission trip to Pakistan. Without God I may lost in this world.
I am looking forward to spend more time with Him, I believe He will guide me in my work and my Amway business. Amen.
