Workload workload
EVERYTHING IS DUE ON TUESDAY FUCK.
Stuff that is due on said day of doom:
-Dive essay 2 (1000 words)
-Dive essay 3 (1000 words) just need to type up and put in references
-Millport assignment (2000 words):
-abstract
-introduction need to stick in an OS map
-methodology (site desc., method, analysis)
-results need to put in a pretty figure
-discussion
-references
-stats test revision
I'm not going to sleep until I finish writing my bloody millport report. Think I'm gonna need to be up until ~5am anyway to keep an eye on my washing.
Also I still have to register with the SAA and now I'm fairly certain that I won't get it done in time to go out diving next week and actually get my open water qualification. It's so frustrating to have put in all the time and effort and suddenly realise it's all for nothing because I forgot a bit of administration, urgh. I'll have to talk to Ralf about it, I may be able to catch up during the Summer when people if he's still planning on holding sessions :I I'll need to be around anyway for my missed exam.
The marine mammal rescue course today was a blast, though :D I got very wet and cold, although thankfully the weather improved a little for us today so that wasn't so bad. I think most of us put down our contact details afterwards, and the guys that were teaching us said that getting your first call-out to a rescuse is absolutely terrifying, but that there'll always be more experienced people to hand, unless we're the first to turn up. But it's not like you can do a great deal then anyway. We'll probably mostly get seals. And they like to bite. We have a special letter in our handbooks which we have to give to a doctor if we're ever bitten by one, it's so nasty >:
