Canon notes
Until such time as someone bothers to explain it*, this is my headcanon about what happened about Stephanie's death.
* I know that Chuck Dixon was going to explore it after introducing the retcon, but then he left the book because he thought Battle for the Cowl was terrible. Sadly, he was right. It was terrible.
- She got tortured with a power drill, and died as a result of her injuries and her treating doctor withholding treatment.
- Batman got pissed off and told the doctor to leave the country.
- Superboy-Prime decided that this was total bullshit and retconned it at the same time as retconning a bunch of other stuff he thought was lame via timestream punch.
- Stephanie now did not die of her injuries.
- Stephanie ended up in Africa because Superboy Prime thought that Africa sounded pretty awesome and she could wrestle tigers or something HE'S NOT SMART OKAY. I CAN ASSUME THIS.
