(because we hear people are looking)

Somewhere, quiet, in the Mansion, Sebastian is fighting to get out. But not in the way he did before, trying to step back to the Den or even to Glorianna's island. His heart is dark and cold, and he seeks a place to match that feeling. If it had just been the one...the one stranger...perhaps he could have forgiven himself for losing control once. Kay, once Tristan has gotten his cloak, leads them through the Mansion, and eventually outside. His look is grimly determined; he intends to speak with Sebastian, one way or another.

Tristan came back to the ball room with a large wolf on his heels, who probably was wary but disciplined upon meeting Kay. He's got Gwen's discarded dress petticoat, and is looking at Kay intelligently, waiting for instructions.

Kay glances at him. "So you have no clear idea where he lives, this Sebastian?"

“No, Sir Captain,” Tristan replies. “But Grey Wind, here, will tell us to find him,” he says confidently, moving a free hand to scratch the large wolf’s head with affection. “Here, friend, seek him.”

He puts the dress to the wolf’s nose, gently. Lets him sniff.

Grey Wind’s typist was kind enough to lend him, and so we can assume he’ll sniff off Sebastian’s trail.

"I'm a steward, not a captain," he grumbles, but moves to follow the wolf as he starts off.

Tristan sighs, and follows Grey wind. Stupid social conventions. Why does he even have to deal with them? But he wants to be worthy of his lady, even if he will never see her again, and so on he goes.

Sebastian is somewhere out on the grounds, not quite in the woods, but not out of them either, sitting on the ground with his back against a tree and eyes closed, trying to focus. Surely if he tries hard enough...there must be some way to get out of here. To somewhere. Somewhere else, it doesn't matter where.

Grey Wind, we assume, will eventually lead the knights in the right direction. Kay will come up to the man indicated and say, low, "Are you called Sebastian?"

Tristan is there, of course, and he kneels, close enough to look at Sebastian, answering Kay with a silent nod.

This is indeed the man he met, called Sebastian. He does not look like a murderous man on rampage, but he also looks very broken, not at all the cheerful heathen he met when he came. This is odd.

He looks up slowly. His mouth quirks at one corner, though the motion doesn't touch his eyes, bright, unnatural green, more hypnotic than ever, brighter, more beautiful.

"Yes," he says, eventually, not bothering to chain the air of sensuality that always surrounds him, drawing people in, meeting Kay's gaze levelly.

He doesn't even glance at Tristan.

He frowns, almost a scowl. Whether this is a defense mechanism or just how he normally looks is unclear. "I am Sir Kay of Camelot. This is Sir Tristan." He indicates the other knight. "We understand that you are a...friend of Queen Guenevere."

Tristan nods, sternly. The way Sebastian looked at Kay perturbed him, somewhat, though he cannot quite put a finger on why.

For now, he'll be silently observing the exchange, having nothing to add to Kay's question.

Sebastian's mouth quirks more, and he keeps his gaze on Sir Kay, seemingly unconcerned, though there's something darker to his gaze. "You heard?"

"I saw," he says, roughly. Something about Sebastian is definitely getting under his skin, though he can't put a finger on it. That, and he wasn't in a very forgiving mood to begin with, given his sister in law's condition. "So if you know, I'd suggest you'd explain."

His mouth quirks a little more. It also becomes more apparent that he doesn't really blink. "I'm afraid you'll have to be clearer than that."

Roughly, "Then let me be perfectly clear. Her majesty was left desecrated and dead. She told me that you were her lover. So help me, if you had any hand in her death, I will do everything in my power to make your stay here as hellish as possible." The air of sensuality is getting under his skin, and it is making his temper even worse.
