Somewhere, quiet, in the Mansion, Sebastian is fighting to get out. But not in the way he did before, trying to step back to the Den or even to Glorianna's island. His heart is dark and cold, and he seeks a place to match that feeling. If it had just been the one...the one stranger...perhaps he could have forgiven himself for losing control once.

In the wake of this fail, although Merlin insists that he's not getting involved, he can be found gathering wood by a river's shore, deeper in the forest.

Sebastian is just walking, hands in his pockets, almost humming, green eyes glowing bright in the darkness. He doesn't really look like a broken man. At least not at first.

Merlin smiles amiably when he sees the young man coming his way.

"Good afternoon."

[comesindreams]

"I'm sorry," not stopping. "I'm not currently available for questions. You shall have to wait."

Damn wizard again. Though...his stride hitches, but only for a moment. Why would a wizard help him?

"I was merely saying hello," the wizard replies very sedately.

That same wizard whom Gwen said was half-incubus.

He hasn't quite made the connection. "Indeed. All the rage these days, isn't it?"

[myrddin_wyllt]

"I honestly would not know," he replies, as he takes his pipe, and prepares it. "I have not quite been around the Mansion, lately. Then again, the Merlin is rarely welcome there."

He pauses, eyes narrowing, and stops walking, at least.

"I see."

[myrddin_wyllt]

Merlin lights his pipe. "There are those of us who aren't as easy to get on with, or who will not fall in line. We usually end up walking away from the Mansion, though should you keep walking, you will find the Orkney cottage." The latter is said with distaste.

"And if I keep walking from there?"

[myrddin_wyllt]

"Likely, you will, just as I did, find yourself either bumping into a invisible wall, or the world will shift, and you will be facing that dreadful cabin again."

"Are there no bridges out of here, then, to anywhere?"

[myrddin_wyllt]

Merlin puts his pipe in his mouth, takes a long drag.

"I was never able to find one, and The Ways know if I have tried."

[comesindreams]

Sebastian makes an exasperated noise. "That seems impossible."

[myrddin_wyllt]

"Only for one who knows to seal it," and that is what I taught her.

[comesindreams]

"I got here on a bridge. I should be able to get back."
