I'm back indeed! And back into Ohmygodthere'ssomuchtodobloodyexamsstressmode, too, unfortunately.... London was fabulous. It was cold and snowy and busy but also hilarious - we saw Avenue Q! I'm sure that, as an English student, it's wrong to enjoy a musical so much which starts with "what can you do with a BA in English?" but I thought it was absolutely fantastic all the same. We also saw Peter Pan, the Michael Jackson exhibition at the O2 (and the Julie posters that were put up there!), I went to the Tate Modern, had a haircut, we saw (part of) the fireworks near the Eye, and I bought a modest 24 books. Yay for London!
Avenue Q is fabulous indeed! We loved it so much the first time that we went back two months later to see it again. I usually define it for people as "Sesame Street for grown-ups" (I'm not sure I did that to you, though), but that doesn't seem to quite cover it. :P
24 books. My goodness. I thought I bought loads of books when in London, but you beat me. xD
I think "Sesame Street for grown-ups with sex" covers it :-) (my god, those puppets were going at it like rabbits! Bahahahaha.) I bought the soundtrack, I loved it SO much. I'd love to see it again, too. My book record stands at 27 in one trip, so it wasn't as bad as that, lol. I usually write down whatever I want for when I go to London. It's so much cheaper. And I was lucky when we were flying back, because the luggage belt scale was broken so they couldn't weigh my suitcase and just waved it through. Bahahaha.
