Forcing the Christmas Mood

I can't seem to get excited about Christmas. The Christmas songs on the radio annoy me, the prospect of a pre-Christmas dinner with my family - including sister + brother-in-law - is not exactly appealing, and the piles of work - both at the office and at home/uni - completely destroy whatever free time might normally be available around this time

So far, not helping much. We just discovered a potentially disastrous mistake at work.

Potentially disastrous? Is that disastrous as in, some really important papers are missing, or disastrous as in, lots of people are going to die? :P

Potentially disastrous as in, we forgot to send out important information wchich will get some courses cancelled, money lost, bosses angry and 1 life lost. (Mine. Because I'll get so sick of all of this I'll jump off a building!! Argh. Oh really I shouldn't joke about that - but it's just... argh.)
