I'm flying to Atlanta, Georgia. The time of the flight isn't really an issue...just as long as I get from point a to point b. I've never been to travelocity. I'll check it out. thanks.
(do you think Kodak cameras are good? I'm told Nikon's are really good. But, in Circuit City the other day, I think they had a 3.2mp Kodak that was about the same price as a 2mp Nikon. I feel so clueless when I go camera shopping...ha. confusion. The camera I use now is a 3.2mp Sony and I like it...I'm really only looking for one comparable to that or slightly better)
i haven't ever personally used kodak cameras. i'm a canon girl. the MP won't matter much if you're never going to print them. 2MP is fine for printing up to say... 5x7, MAYBE 8x10. you're okay with that if you just want a camera to shoot with. go play with everything, don't buy it the first time you touch it, think about it, and then go back. try to strike a deal for the people to throw in a case. go to a 'real' camera store and not a place like circuit city... smaller camera stores are more speciallized and usually more knowledgable about more brands and might be able to find a specific model that's suited for your needs...
I've been doing a lot of looking. I find that most people in the stores (such as Circuit City) have just as much knowledge about cameras as I do...and that's kind of frustrating.
kodak is currently trying to pioneer a new very, very high MP digital SLR. i haven't touched it, haven't seen it. i only see canon and nikon digital SLRs when i'm at shows - i think it's for the lens choices - but who knows. the kodak SLR is priiiiiicey.
why not get the same model line sony you have... just a newer one?
and why do you need a newer one? 3.2 is pretty good
the camera is my dad's...and most of the time he's cool about letting me keep it with me, but every now and then he likes to pull the "it's my camera" card...so I figured I'd just buy my own.
I figured instead of just going with a sony...I'd shop around to make sure I get one I like for a pretty decent price. ya know?
basically usually i look up flights on travelocity, pick the airline that's giving me the cheapest fares, and then go to that airline's site.
southwest is usually awesome - i don't remember if they fly to STL though... don't remember.
i don't like priceline cause you can't pick your times... one time my friend got an 6am flight... they tend to stick you on random horrible flights...

thanks.
