I've got to change your mind, I'll never let you go

Spent an action-packed 5 days in Beijing with Stefan, his brother Marc, and my friend Anne. We hiked a whole day on the Great Wall from Jinshanling to Simatai, recorded a silly video of us "flying" over the Forbidden City, had coffee in 798 art district, and danced our pants off to 80's new wave and electro. Days like this remind me of how good life can be and make me play back memories with New Order looped in the background. Days like this want me to remain this age forever.

It's kind of funny all four of us being in China at the same time. We just don't really know what we are doing, taking it as it comes. Stef sent in his one month notice and we're finding it hard to talk about the near future. Marc got tired of Australia and is job hunting in Hong Kong after his Beijing language course. Anne's doing a haphazardly put together first-time master's program at Beijing Normal University but really just wants to be home with her family. It's time for me to go somewhere too, but where to I am not quite sure. The responsibilites I have are quite real now and I am really starting to feel the weight. I would like Stefan to be with me, but I am not sure if that's possible.

Anyway this song "Krafty" describes everything so perfectly right now.
