I am happy that I live in a world where I can find two of my favorite voices(Jon Foreman of Switchfoot & Sean Watkins of Nickelcreek) together on one CD for $10. Their voices blend very well. I'm also happy that Barack Obama will be in the White House for the next 4 years. Is it non-patriotic of me to say that I'm most excited to see which puppy he buys for his little daughters? Because I love puppies! Although I can't picture our President picking up dog doodie on the White House lawn. He probably has people to do that for him now. And one of his little girls is allergic, so they need a dog that doesn't shed. Wheaten Terriers don't shed! And they are so cute when they're puppies, they look like big teddy bears. I hope they don't pick out some lame designer doggie like a LabraSchnoodle or whatever. And I think Michelle Obama will kick ass as the First Lady. She and her husband seem like the ultimate power couple, while I always thought of Laura Bush as kind of in the background, being silently supportive. *shrug* It will be interesting to see them raising kids in the White House because Bush's daughters were pretty much grown up and getting drunk and dancing on tables by the time he took office, right? One of them wrote a book, but whatever. Pssh.
Politics has always fascinated me. I think I've seen The American President too many times. It's one of my dad's favorite movies, that's probably why. Yet, I don't think he was a West Wing fan(or even knew that the movie inspired the series, or whatever). *shrug*
