http://www.hulu.com/chuck Question: Why is HULU/NBC offering the Chuck S2 premiere(and a few others) a WEEK before they air? Doesn't that kind of defeat the whole purpose of watching it live? I mean, what the hell happened last November and screwed up the fall TV season? Weren't royalties for internet content, like, a big deal? Are the "Chuck" writers even getting paid for this? Say, maybe a dollar for every time it streams on Hulu. I have no problem with shows being streamed AFTER they air "live", but not before. Tivo it if you have to.
Like "Heroes". Let's hypothesize that it was offered on HULU last Monday for seven days. Would you have watched it on HULU last Monday or would you wait for it to air live like most of you did? Isn't the new 'deal' that they have to WAIT a while before making it available online to stream? I love CHUCK, but sheesh. I can wait a week. Way to flush everything that the writers worked for down the toilet, NBC. I think that if they do make it available before, like, a seven-day period they should get fined by the WGA, or the FCC or something.
No wonder they had a strike. Geez. My sister's friends from college are out in LA and her friend Pete was OUT OF WORK during the strike. Like, he did not have a job. I couldn't imagine that.
I admit, if I missed Fringe or HOUSE, I'd watch them online on Wednesday or at least Tuesday before the new one aired, but geez. Why watch it on TV when you can watch it on your computer? Ugh. It just rubs me the wrong way. I go to the movies with my dad on Tuesdays, and I'm ALWAYS home for Fringe. It's all about PRIORITIES!
*stumbles drunkenly off soapbox* Wow. I feel like Norma Rae. Hee-hee.
