Duet, May 2013 Yabu Kota Translation

May 25, 2013 03:47

Hate that I have to repost this again after lj just "magically" made it disappear on my journal x.x
At least I was smart enough to save it xD

Here's Yabu, once again :3

Yabu Kota:

Q:What time did you get up today?
9:50am. 9am is the time I generally wake up. I set my alarm 15 minutes before I leave the house!

Q:What was the first thing you did when you got up this morning?
I watched my mom do exercises while watching a DVD in the living room. Lately it feels like she’s trying to get back into it as her daily routine. After that I washed my face, brushed my teeth, drank a cup of water, changed clothes and around 10:05am I said “Ittekima~su” (T/N: I’m leaving~)

Q: Do you wake up well, or bad?
Well! I think. As soon as the alarm rings, I turn it off. Even if I’m sleepy when I wake up early in the morning, it won’t show.

Q: Bedding Obsession
Last year, all of the JUMP members had a Christmas present exchange. The present I ended up with was a foam pillow that Hikaru bought. That pillow is my favorite. Last time when we went to Thailand, there was a Manchester United Shop (A official goods shop for a soccer club in England). I bought a cushion there and placed it on my bed. Ah, as for a specific obsession, I like the feel of cotton blankets on my skin. During winter, I place cotton blanket over my sheets and during summer I sleep with only a cotton blanket.

Q: The clothes you wear when you sleep
During winter I wear shorts, a t-shirt and a sweater. If it gets too warm then I take off the sweater. Generally, I sleep on my side. On my left, there’s a television. I myself don’t really understand the way I sleep, but, sometimes when I wake up in the morning, my head is rotated at a 180 degree angle (laughs)

Q: Something new you started recently
The circumstances at home might have changed a bit. My older brother is off on his own now, so my mother’s concern has focused on me (laughs) I also have some feelings of loneliness because my friends have moved far away. Ah, but you know, my sister will give birth soon, so it seems like it’s about time for her to return home. I think my house will get lively again.

Q: What’s something you want to start from now on?
Cooking. The number of times I have to use a knife for my work have increased so I thought that it’d be good if I was able to do it…it’s half a year too early(laughs) This time!
For starters, I might start with trying to learn something easy like miso soup.

Q: Something you’ve quit recently or want to quit
I want to stop losing things. When we go abroad for work I’m sure to forget at least one thing like sunglasses. I’ll leave it somewhere and forget about it. That’s why.

Q: When you start something new, what do you keep in mind?
Whatever it might be, because I want to raise my own skills, I’ll go at it at full force. Then there are times where I’ll buy an item that can raise my excitement. For example, something good would be buying a nice pair of loafers.

Q: On April 13th, concerts will begin. What’s something you want to challenge?
I want to try showing everyone precise dancing along with a concert that has various things. Personally, during this tour I can try to change up my hair. Something like cutting it, changing the color, trying out an arrangement, lots and lots of different things!
