P.S: I finished translating JUMParty 3~!! So if anyone hasn't seen or downloaded it yet, you can get it over at the je-yosai community :3 It's a locked community so you will have to join, but it is very worth it since lots of good JE goodies gets shared there :)

[When winter comes around, Yamada tends to find things bothersome]

Winter is my favorite season. For me, I love seeing girls wearing scarfs. Having it wrapped over their long hair ends up getting their hair style all messy…that’s cute to me♥
Makes you feel an urge to fix their hair for them (laughs)

Also, days go by faster and since night settles in quicker during winter, somehow you start to feel a little lonely. But you know, I don’t necessarily hate that. Speaking of getting more sensitive during this season, writing song lyrics becomes much easier because of that. “Gin no Sekai ni Negai wo Komete” is a song that I wrote during winter time after all.

When I was a kid, I’d often stick my feet inside the kotatsu (T/N: a table with a heater in it and a blanket) with my childhood friends and family~ I feel a bit lonely now that I parted ways with that kotatsu that heated our floors. Lately, napping on a sofa instead of a kotatsu has become my usual spot…….Which reminds me, recently I bought smooth and fluffy blankets and sheets that feel incredibly great when you touch them through mail order! But in the end, I fall asleep on the sofa (laughs) But it’s okay!! It’s not just my bed sheets but my sleeping pajamas made out of nice material that feels extremely soft against me♥

Above all that, it might or might not be something that people have taken notice of but, generally when winter comes along, Yamada finds things a bother. Even though he owns quite a lot of favorite scarfs and knitted hats, he always ends up wearing the same ones (laughs) In short, because it’s annoying to reach for the ones that are all the way in the back of my closet, I end up pulling out the ones that are closest to me so I end up using those the most. Today as well, the one scarf I’m wearing today is my large sized green scarf. I wear a lot of black and grey knitted hats as well.

Although winter is the season with a lot of events in it, I’m the type of person that has all of his fun at home since I get annoyed easily and I’m bad with dealing with large crowds of people. Every year when Christmas comes along, everything sparkles in pure white lighting. I take a “Legit Tree” that’s even greater than I am and decorate it in high spirits (laughs) On Christmas day, I usually have work to go to but I always look forward to the Christmas present exchange with the members!! We decide on a budget and every single one of us goes out, buys one and brings it in. Last year, Chinen’s “High grade 1.5 kg of beef exchange ticket” was the present that caught my eye (laughs). We all get really really fired up about it. I wonder what kind of presents everyone is going for this year…starting now, I’m really looking forward to it.

Speaking of things I’d like to try out this winter, after all is said and done is snowboarding. I say this every single year but, winter always ends up passing by me without me actually doing it. I wonder if my goal for 2014 should be to get rid of this annoying quality in my personality (laughs).

It’s fun to pick out presents for our member present exchange!

Last year I picked out an electric hot eye mask for my present. Since everyone is 20 and up this year, maybe I’ll go with a high class glass set. I can engrave names on them too.

The problem remaining, The Otoshidama problem in the Yamada household (T/N: Otoshidama is new years money)

Lately, I give my older and younger sisters otoshidama. It’s fine if I give it to my younger sister but the problem lies in, “Why do you even give your older sister otoshidama?”. Because she seems happy when I do, I just end up thinking that it’s fine to do so (laughs)

(T/N: You usually only give otoshidama to people below 20 years old xD)

On days when it snows, Totoro greets us at the entrance

Because lots of snow fell last year, we made a huge totoro out of snow at our entrance!! Why something like that? You can feel such fun and excitement communicated through snow. It’d be nice if it snowed this winter as well.

My Best 3: Favorite Nabe

1.      Kimchi Nabe: When you talk about nabe in the Yamada household then it’s this one. There’s been times where we’ve eaten it for 3 weeks straight. The contents can include a lot of meat along with a spicy hot flavor. I love the crispy part of the lettuce as well♥

2.      Motsu Nabe: The place I go to often has a “One nabe per person” thing. Generally, I love eating out by myself. When winter comes along, I tend to go out quite a lot. It gets my body all warmed up.

3.      Sukiyaki: You gotta have this for those “Eat with all your might!!” moments♥
Eating the soaking beef from the stew, adding in eggs, and then you eat it together with white rice…it gives you power!

This month’s phrase

Theory, My goal is to get annoyed this winter!
