Almond Danish Puff

1 cube butter
1c flour
2T cold water

work into dough, chill. divide dough in two, spread thin with hands into 2 long strips on large cookie sheet.

boil 1 cube butter, 1c water to a rolling boil. Take off stove, add 1/2t vanilla, 1/2t almond extract and 1c flour all at once. Beat well. add 3 eggs, one at a time & beat with wooden spoon. Spread evenly over dough. Bake at 325° 1 hour, when cool, frost.

Cream 1/2 cube butter & enough powdered sugar w/ little milk, couple drops almond and vanilla extract & little lemon juice. Top w/ sliced almonds. May be frozen.
