"And when the kids on the street say
What's your problem girl
And the weight of their smile's just
Too much for you to bear
When they all make you feel
Like you're a problem girl
Remember
You're no problem at all
You're no problem at all"
I have that song stuck in my head and I have been listening to it like it's my job. It's from Rob Thomas' solo album which ROCKS!! I went to NYC with Kristin & Jay last weekend and had a blast. Went to Times Square, SoHo, Chinatown, Financial District, took numerous cabs, and just had a really good time. She's really into this Jay guy and that's good for her right now...although I really haven't seen her much at all.
My dinner on Wednesday went without flaw! Everyone was ranting and raving about our menu and I was Front of the House Manager. The servers were great and everyone enjoyed themselves. My folks came down and said it was one of the best meals they have ever had in a long time. We also came under budget for the class which was also great! Bridget and Renee were my group managers for BOH and Bridget Rocked The Kitchen! We fed 23 people and everyone enjoyed themselves as we got mostly all 4s and 5s on the comment cards we gave to people. I was so glad I got to see my parents as I hadn't seen them in over a month. Good times Good times...
Bridget also got into an accident over the weekend and seriously hurt her hand and spine. The jerk was from Brazil and was stopped on the highway where 95 merges with 195. Bridget didn't see him in enough time to swerve and sideswiped him. He was asking for all her info when the cops came and he suddenly didn't speak good english anymore...hmm...I took her to get her X-Rays yesterday and to get the stuff out of her car because it was totaled. She was upset but we went and cooked dinner and I burnt my hand making risotto but it was worth it because it was damn good. Then we had some wine and watch The Incredibles which was a pretty decent movie. I've been hanging out w/ Bridget a lot lately and it's been good for us I think...soon I'll be home in NH and then she goes to FL so it's best to make the best of the time we have left here in RI.
So work is dead as usual and it's so boring. I am going to see Papa Roach after work as they are playin at the school's Wahoo! celebration for free...playing with Trust Company & some other group. I am rather quite excited about it. Been looking forward to it for a LONG time now...yessssssssssss. Went to Cactus for Cinco de Mayo and it was CRAZY!! SO incredibly packed and I rocked the margaritas w/ Bridget & Lauren all night long until we left and went to Marissa's. They had a Chichiuaua there and it rocked...if I ever got a dog, I'd get one of those! Now I know why Denisse was so obsessed with them. Cute & Cuddly and just sit in your lap and shake...constantly nervous I guess. So I just opened up a bag of the new Dark Chocolate M&M's and they are so yummy. Chocolate IS the breakfast of champions!
I am really finding it hard to believe that in a little over a week, I will be graduating from college with another degree. If that wasn't enough, I'm going for more punishment to get mu graduate degree...that is if SNHU ever returns my e-mails. I guess I should call eventually. I will wait until I am settled in back home and everything and I can figure stuff out. I applied for a job @ the Crowne Plaza in Nashua on Tuesday morning and got a call back on Tuesday afternoon. I have an interview with them on the 14th at 10AM and I think I'll get the job. I was estatic that I got a call back so quickly and everyone sounded so nice there. I hope that everything works out so I can have a job when I graduate. I think that's all the updates I have for now as I am mad tired and can't think much...I need to go get some Mountain Dew to stay awake!!
