Summary: The Winchester brothers are living in an orphan camp as wards of a militaristic government. They, and the others living in their barracks, sometimes have mysterious injuries on certain mornings, despite being fine the night before. Castiel is hired to figure out what is going on. It turns out the Winchesters and their friends are being forced to participate in gladiatorial-style entertainment for corrupt officials.

So, the story behind this image is a long one. It started out as a massive sketch, nearly 4000x4000, and I slowly shaped and refined it. Eventually, I got it down to a nice 16x9, 1080p size. Then, as I was making final changes on it, Photoshop decided to crash. I hadn't saved in over 3 hours. So, as the crash dialogue was on the screen, and after a few hours of frustrated cursing, I took a screenshot of it. So, this is all that remains. A pixelated representation of what once was. So, enjoy, I guess. You can get the spirit of the fic, and I suppose that's all that matters.
