Comm 120 - AKA Spanish Inquisition
Welcome to my life:
8-9:15am - Class...got my midterm back...GOT AN A!!!! 3rd highest grade in the whole class. Too bad there are only 16 of us. Haha
9:30am - Meeting with the chair of the Religious Studies department...really nervous... goes SO well, he's SO awesome, and is going to introduce me to this AMAZING scholar who might have ideas for my Oxford study proposal
10:00am - Go to the UCen for the first time since the beginning of this year. Haha.
Until 12pm...procrastinated :)
12-3:45pm - Work at Hillelizzle...had some good IM conversations. Haha. That's all I ever do at work... :)
4-6:50pm - MOST BORING CLASS EVER TURNS INTO: The Spanish Inquisition. Long story short, I made the mistake of opening my big mouth in my class of 75 people and ended up getting singled out by this random speaker guy who was freaking intimidating. I wanted to crawl under my chair...but that wasn't really an option so I cried instead. He was like "can I see your resume? What is your DREAM JOB?" Haha. Do NOT ask a 20 year old what they are going to do with the rest of their life. It's not nice. It's not even thoughtful...sheesh.
7:00pm - Come home to find out our event with Sig Ep, AKA my reasonable chance at finding a date for Sapphire Ball is POSTPONED until NEXT THURSDAY. That wouldn't be a problem except that Sapphire is three days after that. BOO!
8:00pm - Watched American Idol...is it just me, or can NONE of those people sing?
9:00pm - Checked EVERYONE'S away messages because I am a big procrastinator. Emailed Kevin...friend (kinda) from high school because rumor has it he's in Ireland...figured we could "rekindle our friendship" across the world.
Now - trying to convince myself that I can survive living next door to REALLY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE FOR THE NEXT 6 WEEKS.
Happy half birthday to ME!!!!! :)
Oh yeah, and I just realized I'm addicted to diet coke.
