Actually, he doesn't cover candidates per se. He is covers modern and historical racism and eliminationism in the US, particularly right-wing extremist organizations like the Patriots, Minutemen, KKK, etc.

He is writing about Ron Paul because Ron Paul has been part of the right-wing extremism circles for decades and has become the most prominent public figure associated with them. I know that there has been a big push in the media about Paul's past this week, but Neiwert has been writing about him and his history for months.
His most valuable work, I think, is "Eliminationism in America" - it's in ten chapters, but is excellent and quite readable. Very worth reading.
