Big ass volcano: Tens of thousands of people living within the danger zone of Mayon Volcano in the Philippines were forced to evacuate to emergency shelters in mid-December 2009 This natural-color image of Mayon was captured on December 15, 2009, by the Advanced Land Imager on NASA’s Earth Observing-1 (EO-1) satellite.

A small plume of ash and/or steam is blowing west from the summit. Dark-colored lava flows from previous eruptions streak the flanks of the mountain.

(Above is pasted :-P )

Volcano's!!!
Volcano's can create like tornado bigness, freaking high ash clouds.... pyroplastic clouds they call it....like mount Pinatubo, its freaky and magnificent, without volcano's we would not survive ( its the cooling fan of the earth)

Look at the size of that!!!!!!!!!

Also in the Philipines on June 7 1991 it generated an ash column 7 km high! I saw video footage and it was so impressive I was obsessed by volcano's for months, I even held my presentation about them on school for English studies. (sounds so interesting I only spoke for 5 minutes ;)  ) Somebody filmed the ash cloud from the back of the car, you could feel their fear it was freaky, it was really really freaky, it is so huge and the ash is so hot it would burn you instantly....all over the country and further it was dark because of the aftermath ash rains....and even in newyork the sunset colour changed...the earth cooled down a half degree I think..... Really wow.....scary!!!

nasa, pinatubo, volcano
