rah, lets start with a school update, since thats what my last week has been of.
University is nothing like I expected. I expected to meet tons of cool people, have super interesting courses, and just have fun in general. So far, I haven't met anyone new, just people I don't like from the Gray or Rural. It's just as cliquey as highschool at times. My classes are alright at best.
Economics is really dry and such a dozing off class, but for some reason I still listen. Plus my professor is like 70 with a ponytail, hah!
Math is just like Grade 11 math, I'm indifferent to it.
Academic Writing is brutal, alot of writing, and just boring in general. I hate learning about grammar and puncuation. This professor also has a ponytail.
Business is definitely my favourite class, super interesting power-point presentations and not much note taking. All my notes for all my classes is on the web, so you just print it off.
And last, Political Studies. NOTHING like in high school. He talks so fast and I think it would be recent issues in the Third World, but its theory and assumptions about the Third World.
I read like 2-3 hours a day for all my classes, but I really should be doing more. Whatevski.
Sears is hell, I have this old mountain troll that I work with and she insults me constantly. I had a little situation this week where this guy with a bad stuttering problem came in and I read the price of a piece of jewellery off wrong to him, like 500$ cheaper than it actually was. So he decided to get it, then I saw it was actually like 1000$ and I felt so bad. And he was super sad and left. The next day he was waiting at the doors for opening and ran in threating the staff in the jewellery dept. saying that his lawyer demands he gets the lesser price since that's what I told him the first time. Then he said "This won't be the last you see of me! I'll deal with that blond girl on the weekend..", and ran out. Scary shizzz, they had to alert security, so lets hope I don't get stabbed in the face or anything Saturday when i'm working. Heh.
I think I'm going to buy a car or lease one, because I have no way into school. YEEEEAH. I can't wait. Other than that, that's about all. OOO! Cuddles got surgery on his big tumour, and the scar is like 6 inches long. It's grosssssss. Plus they suprised us with pulling out 8 of his teeth because they thought they looked rotten so he's all tooth-less like a hobo.
